So i was wondering if theres any way i can make the laptop and the TV as separated screens using a VGA cable. my laptop is Dell XPS with Windows 7 thanks Link to comment

Select the screen resolution option, this will open a new window which will give you options on how to configure the multiple displays, change it to extended.
