One more ignoramus to be added to the growing collection...

You forget that faith is belief in that which cannot be proven. It is the core of any deity-worshipping group, and is a measure of spiritual fortitude. Besides, a true Christian (I won't speak for other religions) should use his faith as a moral guide, not as a tool to prove/disprove ideas or theories on the nature of the universe.

Don't throw words around like an uneducated ape until you know both sides well.

Your statement in no way invalidates hers I hope you know.

This thread is so dumb it makes Amber look like a Rhodes Scholar

It is now.

I don't recall ever seeing a thread about religion & science fail so completely. The meaningless dribble strives while the meaningful dies in the gutter? Is it simply that the topic is a bit too mature for this crowd?

I have never had an issue with faith, religion is another issue, but I am a stout believer in science. Still though, I love seeing this topic in forums and I highly enjoy talking about it with others, especially when it's geared towards religion. Even if it is a never ending debate and strong opinions can arise, this is a subject worth all of that.

Who isn't passionate about their beliefs and want to discuss it at times? There isn't a single place where this shouldn't be a welcome sight and it's a shame that it is.
