Amit, In one of your previous posts you mentioned something about branching out. Just for clarification is the SteamGamers community going to turn into some sort of all inclusive gaming community where we support every game under the sun and have a greater diversity of players? Also are you planning to turn the forums into a "G" audience setting?

'branching out' is a rather subjective issue. Now, since everyone thinks of me as Warren Buffet.....a capitalist trying to buy his way to success.....no amount of clarification will work.

 

So, I'll just say that we'll make sure SG keeps its flavor and choice of games......and be a more casual gaming forum rather than a corporate site.

Regarding the restructuring of forums, I see a lot of dead-wood on the site which can go. As of now, I find it a bit confusing and not user friendly at all. Too much focus is given on banning, and the admin section (for those who cans view it) is a monster. There are many inactive sections as well which take a lot of real estate on the site.

 

Personally, I feel that the members should not be scrolling too much at SG. Everything should be visible as soon as the page is loaded.

And yes, there will be servers to suit members from across the world. It is something we're working on.....
