The IRC concepts seems a little less inviting for newcomersfags though. The chatbox makes the forum seem bustling with activity.

Whenever i join a forum without a CB i always frown, it feels like its missing.

And then when someone decides to start trolling, whining about a ban, starting an argument or spamming?

 

The chatbox isn't exactly the most inviting thing in the world all of the time, and for "newcomerfags" then it's more of a drop in thing or if they have questions or whatever as well as everyone who wants to can use it to chat in lieu of the chatbox.

 

It really wouldn't be much different, we'd just have better control over the crap that currently inhabit the CB.

 

You know, there are more powerful chat-box sstems which can be moderated and such....

 

users can be banned....text moderated....controlled environment...just like IRC.

& How are actions in the community going to come into effect? Meaning new servers and such, a vote within the higher ranks or based on what the players want, a bit of both as it always has been?
