Lux Posted March 2, 2011 Content Count: 6712 Joined: 03/06/08 Status: Offline Share Posted March 2, 2011 This problem is really baffling me because I had the same problem on my old computer and router...and even now with a new computer and router I have the same problem.... Basically....when I plug the ethernet wire into my computer the internet doesn't work. When I plug it into the usb adapter and plug that into my computer....it works. Maybe I shouldn't care but, I think without the USB adapter I would get a better speed etc? Link to comment

Well it hasn't been working since it's been brand new...and the same can be said for my other completely unrelated computer. I don't really want to do something drastic like like that when it might not be that problem. *edit* I think the network stuff is built into the motherboard?......
