If you have the proper hardware, and you take the proper precautions, overclocking isn't anything to be afraid. But have you ran CPU Burn In on it for a day? Link to comment

Did it back when I first OC'd. I just didn't like the temps. I can overclock to 2.8GHz and not get a single degree increase in temps, which I probably run the computer on that when its necessary. I think I'm going to keep it this way Check out the sweet 22 degrees Celsius. It's almost room temperature. Link to comment
