The police is investigating about Chara and neither you and me can do anything for/against it. On another note, when I'm playing hockey, I don't look at the puck. Professionnal players learn how to perform actions without looking at what they do. They have an inner radar that allows them to know where everything is around them. And I believe that the noise that occured by the hit was loud enough for us to hear it on the video. So how can someone being 2 feet away from the orinigal point of impact could not have heard it? And your opinion doesn't matter to me. The police is investigating about Chara and neither you and me can do anything for/against it. If they do investigate, it just proves how much of a joke that police department is and how desperate the die hard Montreal fans are. You do know they use microphones to amplify sounds on the broadcasts, right? You also have to take into consideration that he was not focusing on the player impacting the wall, so IF he heard a noise, why would he immediately investigate if he is worried about trying to play the game? Again, you do not know what the sound was like at the position because you have never played in that arena, under those circumstances, with that crowd capacity. You need evidence to prove he did something wrong, not assumptions. For the bolded section: So for any given professional player, they would know precisely where they are? I'm pretty sure you would find fuck ups from players in any sport for being in the wrong position. They probably do have a greater "inner radar" that amateur players, but the fact is this heightened sense is human (if it truly exists). Humans tend to make errors A LOT of the time, so you would have to prove to me that he is a flawless player. To sum all of this up, you have no evidence to support your claim, but you have a ton of assumptions. Link to comment
