Don't waste money on a v10, get something cheaper. CM Hyper 212/Arctic Freezer 64/etc put that money towards a better CPU/Mobo or GPU. DDR3 Ram is probably cheaper than the DDR2 you have. That case is...ugly to say the least, I can't read the site but you can get much better cases with better airflow (dont need that second fan). Never heard of the power supply before, see if you can find a corsair. I'd honestly build one from the ground up rather than use the PC builder on this site. http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/radeon-hd-6950-unlock-build-a-pc-overclock,2893.html ^ Try following a build like these guys, they update the system every few months to try to get the best performance. IF you can build something close to that, you'll have a nice rig. Edited March 23, 2011 by Zealot Link to comment

trakaill Posted March 23, 2011 Content Count: 3736 Joined: 11/30/07 Status: Offline Share Posted March 23, 2011 Very nice build, are there any other options for a different motherboard, i would seriously recommend going with DDR3 memory, cheaper AND a lot better. Other then that, very nice build. That build has an old CPU..why? socket 775 is dead.. buy a i5-750 if your tight on money or go AMD if you are really tight Id say your better of than that old quad core!! And yea of course dont make the mistake I made of buying shit DDR2 memory.. way expensive compared to DDR3 Ugh, this disgusts me. This is the exact reason why you have a ton of people out there who built their own computer or had a friend build it for them and don't have anyone to fix the problems. Building a computer is not as simple as knowing how to put the pieces together! You have to know how to troubleshoot the problems when they occur too! WTF are you talking about???? when building a computer if you use your brain slightly really the only problem you can have is DOA hardware.. a little of tryout will let you know what is not working. Building a computer IS as simple as putting pieces together!!! As far a compatibility issues its bogus, read the fucking label there isnt that much to it. DDR3 memory on DDR3 mobos... with a socket that matches your CPU and a PCI x16 slot for your GPU. Power the whole thing with 600+W and there you go. Buy a sata HDD and your done. Now if you get into multiple GPU, liquid cooling, OC of CPU/GPU yeah shit can get complicated But building a PC is as simple as it gets... Link to comment

Final price is around ~€780 Edited March 24, 2011 by Tweezy Link to comment

I apreciate all the effort you guys put into this and I'm looking over these in some more detail after I'vee played my matches which start in about half an hour. I've got even better new for myself, I quit my job and got a bonus or whatever you might call. another 400 euros added. I know you have all beentrying to get me a pc of around 800 and I'd prefer it that way but I wouldn't mind if you hit 900 or even 1000 As I said, I'l look over your posts later and give my opinion and verdict and some more thanks ;) regards Delta Link to comment

It really does depend what you want to use the CPU for, modelling/Game design - Intel because of their technology. I would always go AMD for gaming though. Link to comment
