I love how the most reliable and one of the best mice I have ever used is an early Logitech optic mouse. Cost around $15 and still works fine 8 years latter. You dont need to spend a bunch on a mouse ( yes I did but you dont ). If you do have problems like those described, its probably a lost cause though you could try cleaning it up a bit if you dont want to give up on it yet.

I can back him on this. I love my Lachesis, no complaints and the thing is just plain flawless. There are mice that will get the job done for less money though.

razer mice are really good in my opinion, my only problem with mine is that the type of plastic it has on it collects like all my sweat from my hands, along with dirt, est. Not terribly hard to clean off though, sooo ya

THe only problem with the Lachesis is if you removed plastic from the laser Cover (I did that thought it needed to be removed)

It moves because of a little dirt/dust

^ A really great, cheap mouse.. Bought mine for ~$20.. It's wired, has 3 DPI settings and fits the hand perfectly..
