I've looked at other forums and stuff and I can't find an answer so I guess I'll try here. I've recently done an upgrade from Windows Vista Home Premium 32-bit to Windows 7 Home Premiym 32-bit. I did not put in a clean install of Windows 7 cause I didn't feel like reinstalling WoW from the online client cause its 10 gb and that takes a long time. Since I did this my game plays for like 10-15 minutes then my pc freezes. Idk what to do. Link to comment

LilWeezy Posted March 26, 2011 Content Count: 4 Joined: 03/15/11 Status: Offline Share Posted March 26, 2011 I ended up having to do a fresh installation of WoW again. It worked fine while it was downloading and it allowed me to play however now that its done it is literally stopping my wireless connection to work as soon as I log in and select my character. Ill play for 30 seconds and it will say I've been disconnected and when I exit the game every time my wireless internet connection says it has been lost. I've tried running repair and I only want to have to dl it from the website again if I have to. Another thing I would like to know is if it is because I have a trial account instead of a full acount. Lastly, would I be better off just buying the game out of the store. I have it but its an old copy from when WoW had first come out and it will ont do a full update to 4.x. Link to comment

If it still doesnt work then: Seeing that you reinstalled Windows 7, and the wireless is kicking you off, you might wanna install/reinstall the latest driver update for your wireless card. Another thing to do if the things above dont work is to portforard ports :3724& 6112 into your router. If you need help, look here: http://portforward.com/english/routers/port_forwarding/routerindex.htm. or post your router info Link to comment

Also, its only with WoW. I played a game of LoL and nothing happened. Its only in WoW. I don't understand how it could be fine while it's downloading but when it finishes it does this.
