Amit Posted March 31, 2011 Content Count: 488 Joined: 02/06/11 Status: Offline Share Posted March 31, 2011 dell? *facepalm* go get another hardrive and reinstall the os so you dont have all the shit that comes with dells Had a few options..really. In this part of the world, there are only certain things one can get on a credit. I had a superior configuration for the same price (similar to the ones mentioned in this thread), but I was asked to pay cash for the material. With Dell, I can pay in 24 months.... Did you even look at any of the suggestions? Oh wait. I did. Unfortunately, I realized that even though I could get a superior configuration, I was unable to get any credit since it'd have to be locally assembled, and required cash. Infact, one of the configuration I was offered for the same price I paid for the Dell was near to the ones suggested in this thread. Apart from a couple of parts, most of the other items were available in India. What is the major difference ? Viruses/malware/bloatware/etc. Grab a clean copy of Windows and install it fresh after buying. Own windows = Clean Dell version of windows = Full of trash from Dell itself, which 90% you won't use. 1 Link to comment https://forums.steam-gamers.net/topic/41003-dream-configuration-for-new-system/page/3/#findComment-537939
