How do you figure? You need 2 cards, its that simple. One card is dedicated to using physx. he has 2 nvidia cards and i have one ati card, even if i had 2 ati cards id still have issues, im trying to get it to work with just one ati card Link to comment
Dirk Posted April 4, 2011 Content Count: 2167 Joined: 07/14/10 Status: Offline Share Posted April 4, 2011 I am running two cards in SLI mode so they are both being used for 3d rendering but one is also taking on the task of physx. The SLI still scales about 95% even when the Physx is in use. One card can handle 3d rendering and Physx. Link to comment

Both cards aren't connected but this is specifically an nvidia thing. I am running two cards in SLI mode so they are both being used for 3d rendering but one is also taking on the task of physx. And sli is 2 cards on the same board (aka 2 460's for example), phyx doesn't need 2 of the same card. also a list of physx games: * Batman: Arkham Asylum * Watchmen: The End is Nigh * Crazy Machines 2 * Cryostasis: Sleep of Reason * Dark Void * Darkest of Days * Hot Dance Party * Hot Dance Party II * Mafia II * Metal Knight Zero Online * Metro 2033 * Mirror's Edge * Nurien * The Saboteur * Sacred 2: Fallen Angel * Sacred 2: Ice & Blood * Shattered Horizon * Star Tales * Star Trek DAC * Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2 * Unreal Tournament 3 (and Extreme Physics Mod) * U-WARS * Warmonger: Operation Downtown Destruction[24 Why bother with physx, if you want more performance go crossfire your cards.
