sebak Posted April 11, 2011 Content Count: 1710 Joined: 02/03/11 Status: Offline Share Posted April 11, 2011 have g35. prly already saw my thread. most common problem for that headset is the earcup falls off and duct tape will not be able to mend it. though warranty will replace it even without recipet. what i like it that it has 7.1 surround sound support. and that it pretty much blocks out most sounds. you wont hear somone calling out for you or the doorbell. (got in trouble for this..) microphone is made from rubber and not plastic so its damn near unbreakable and u can bend it. has a built in voice modifier program, though the voices kinda suck and its pretty hard to understand what you are saying. its fun to troll with. 3 macro keys on the left earcup which you can program for anything. i dont know about the others. but i really like this headset. Elfbarf Posted April 13, 2011 Content Count: 1116 Joined: 10/30/10 Status: Offline Share Posted April 13, 2011 I'd advise staying away from the Carcharias, I've had 2 pairs and while they were nice at first, neither of them lasted very long. The first pair lasted ~5 months before the mic broke, the second one lasted ~1-2 months before the right earpiece stopped working. I didn't abuse them much at all, had carpet back then so even if I dropped them it wouldn't have done much. Link to comment
