that is why admins don't like PB. it's just constant QQ. the people that made it fun and moved on since they are sick of the whining that goes down.

 

i was just in there for like 2 hours and it was just constant whining. PB really doesn't need more rules, just less whining.

 

Like that will happen we get some many new people who play it and think admins can juyst BAN away with out even seeing any thing its kind of funny what might help is get some one who plays PB alot and give them admin liek Crazyt swed or something

I didn't understand any of that, did you mean we get PB players that think admins can ban freekillers because they said so? And to give a PB regular admin to stop that happening? It doesn't really make sense... but regardless, it doesn't matter what admin you put in that server, the players need someone to blame.

 

You tell players several times in admin chat and voice "We can't ban freekillers without proof and your word isn't enough" but they continue to complain until you have to mute/gag them - that's when you become the enemy. Right now, half of the PB regs (non-SG members) know me as one of the worst admins because I wouldn't ban a freekiller regardless of me telling them I could not see him freekilling. I have to play undercover to get rid of the rule breakers which is funny because as soon as I tag up, they start attacking me and expecting me to do shit for them. "OMG EVEN TEAMS ADMIN." "WTF, ADMIN IS A FREEKILLER" "OMG DIDNT YOU SEE THAT, BAN HIM!".

 

tl;dr - admins spending too long in PB will end up banning the people that aren't freekilling.

I'm on the 'non-admin players' side of this.

 

And from what I've seen, even I get annoyed by the people desperate for others to get punished. If they are actually doing something worth a ban, an admin WOULD have been aware of it.

If they didn't see it then it's only going to be 1 or 2 incidents, only a slay.

dude most of the old regulars DNW because of the whining. heck, i'd say about middle of spring last year is when PB became crap. more people whine about crossfire and getting shot then actually getting freekilled. we want to play a game and keep things fun, not babysit a bunch of whiners.

 

like hV said, we do nothing, we a badmin. we do something, no one curr. people are just too lazy to post demos these days.

I think the main problem is that people notice more when an admin isn't there than when they are there. Admins are there a lot and mainly undercover from what I have noticed and they do their jobs. I just think that when rule breaking situations happen and admins aren't around more people notice and say that admins are never there but when rule breaking happens and an admin is there people just don't take those situations into account. I see admins there probably about 95% of the time and they only times one isn't there is usually in the morning (east coast).

 

Overall, I think the majority of Katy Perry's ideas are pretty well thought out but I don't feel really any are necessary. I know change is good and I agree I love what has been changing around this place. I am currently away at school until next week and I can only play when I come home on breaks but being able to sit back and watch what has happened here is great. I just don't think that PB is something that really needs to be changed, if anything minor changes with rule clarifications but other than that I think the server is good as is.

No I know that if a admins dont see it they cant do any thing I understand that and I understand that admins dont want to play PB becasue there alway s little ass holes playing who think admins are there to baby sit them and Yes people are to lazy to take demos becasue have of them dont know HOW too. But if people want things fixed then get a admin who can deal with all the whiny people and can do there job. I understand that admins cant see every thing but some times its sad that they dont see it when itw right in front of them. Nothing saying this is every admin and Im also not saying a admin whoul see every thing and wait in spec they should be able to play and do therej opb at the same time not just one thing.

 

 

ANd being a admin you cant have every one love you if there bitching about you not banning them becasue of there word then Mute them. If they cant handle it then kick them they will learn and I find it JUST STUPID that some one would hate a admin just becasue they did not do what they say admins cant see every thing people just dont understand that.

I agree with the part about about demo's seeing as it took me some time and a bit of probing to figure it out but I did learn how to eventually except I wasn't lazy I just thought you type demo to record but that gave me an error and I just didn't want to look stupid asking for help(ended up doing it anyway though)

I completely agree some rules do need better clarification and most rules seem fine the way they are

I also agree with the admins being in often but I have to say when I see them they really don't stick around for too long and I can't say that I blame them, as someone who almost religiously plays PB server there is most definitely a lot of bitching and most of it is trivial, too

 

But as for the crossfire part they should be allowed to heal and most CT's don't let them heal, and this is just my opinion (probably because my aim sucks) but having less health makes it tougher to rebel and its no fun when you when you go to pick up a gun and some guy can shoot you once with a USP and kill you because you were caught in crossfire early on
