How do I change subscription options?

It seems that everytime I post in any thread, I automatically subscribe to said thread which results in my inbox getting spammed. I looked around in the Settings tabs but I couldn't really find options for subscriptions other than deleting them. Is it possible to cancel automatically subscribing to threads?

In your user settings there should be an option to uncheck... I would go into detail but im on my droid :/

As far as I know you can't do that and must delete but I may be wrong

just go to Settings => My Account => General Settings (scroll down a bit), then just put the 'Default Thread Subscription Mode:' to 'Do Not Subscribe'.
