i hear that there is cross platfourm co-op on portal 2 because steam has somthing on ps3

 

if this is true my friend got portal 2 on his ps3 and it comes with a code to get a pc copy (that he gave to me)could we play at the same time if i use his code (me use pc him use his ps3)

no, you cannot, that copy of portal 2 is linked to your steam account and you can only play one or the other, if you wanna play with your friend you are going to have to get the game on PS3 or PC.
