I use it to record, make some montages for black ops, bc2 and css. anyways i know that recording the raw video is supposed to take a lot of space. like 3 mins is = 4gb. i actually got a video file that is 58 secs long and is 3.2gb. anyways running out of space. is there any way to auto re-encode the videos while recording??

Set it to 30FPS, since 4GiB for 1 minute is stupid, lol.

My settings are: Full screen, 29.99 FPS. Giving me like 1GiB per minute.

If you want it to auto-encode.. Nope, fraps doesn't have such thing. You'll have to find another program for that. But the problem with those recording programs is that the quality will decrease dramatically because it needs to convert the raw file as fast as possible.

If you had Fraps doing that as well as creating the video, you wouldn't even be able to play your game haha. If all these suggestions don't help, record your video, create the movie and then delete the raw files to save space. It's not the greatest idea if you have some good footage but if you have no choice...
