Cav's went 19-63 this year after losing LJ. Indian's went 69-93 last year (although are doing decent this year). Ohio St. Football coach Jim Tressel resigned after after multiple illegal allegations and fines. Good luck to you Ohioans. Link to comment

So really it has been an up and down year. The Browns are picking it up big time along with the Indians (even though they have hit a rough patch but still a good young team). The Cavs will get helped out majorly with the 3 picks, and Tressell has been taking heat the last few years anyway. It will be good to see what happens to Ohio State and how they handle their current situation. Link to comment

It's kind of amazing this whole situation and how poorly Tressel handled it. And I actually still think he's a decent guy, who just made a wrong choice. The fact is... all the big Universities who get the best recruits, year in and year out, cheat. It's just about covering up your pieces. Tressel did a good job for a while, but it's backfired at him. Just like it did Pete Carrol. Just like it had a hundred other coaches. tOSU will be fine though. They have other 4/5 star athletes waiting to take the place of departured teammates. No, they probably won't go and win a National Title or even the inaugural "Big 12" title, but I bet they still make a respectable bowl game. And Terrelle Pryor will just be known as the guy that came after Maurice Clarett. Link to comment

The others just don't get caught. Bringing in these big time recruits just usually doesn't happen, there are some incentives to bring them there. It happens all the time so I am not sure why people are making a huge deal out of just Ohio State breaking rules. Most likely probably has to do with them being "clean" up to this point. Overall, I do think Ohio State will bounce back in the upcoming years and to be honest the people of Ohio had always criticized Tressell and his conservative play and it was more apparent these last few years with Pryor. I can tell you that not too many people are upset that Pryor is leaving, he really was pretty overrated. We may not have anyone better right now but Pryor really wasn't that good. Just give it a couple years and OSU will be back to where they usually are. Link to comment

I agree with this year. I mean I think they will make a bowl game just not a big bowl game. They will have some rebuilding to do that is for sure. It's a good thing I was never a huge Ohio State football fan, I am more of an NFL guy. Link to comment

Oh yeah very true. Didn't think too much about that. But I still think they will bounce back in a couple years or so. Link to comment

Although he will probably go mid/upper sub draft, some may still want him for what QB skill he still has by then. Link to comment
