It will be interesting to see if he can put his ego aside if some team does tell him to switch positions. Wish him the best even though he made some dumb decisions. Link to comment

He was a very good college quarterback. Sure, he didn't live up to his potential of Heisman-status, but he went 31-4 and won two BCS games. Link to comment

Of course this QB style is rarely successful in the NFL (Thus why I'm concern with Newton lol). Link to comment

He also played in the Big Ten which has been fairly weak as of late besides Wisconsin and Penn State being pretty good and even Michigan State was pretty good this passed season. I don't know I just think that when he played better defensive teams his true colors really showed. I don't know how successful he will be but we will see. Link to comment

Even as an Ohio State fan i am sick of hearing about Pryor/Tressell. They broke rules that practically every single D1 football program does. People are overreacting. ESPN can't stop talking about the Heat either, the season ended what a week ago or so? I can't even remember and they still continue to talk about LeBron and the Heat. Gets so old. Link to comment
Repeat Posted July 20, 2011 Content Count: 1384 Joined: 10/05/07 Status: Offline Share Posted July 20, 2011 I'm an Ohio State graduate and I'm disgusted with all of the crap that has gone on with the football program. Makes the rest of the university look bad. I also hate that people blame Terelle Pryor for the downfall of Jim Tressel. People should blame Jim Tressel for the downfall of Jim Tressel. The man lied, and he got what was coming to him. Had he practiced what he preached, and told the truth, this situation wouldn't be nearly as bad as it is. That said, those boners over at ESPN just LOVE to add fuel to the fire. They've always had it out for tOSU, and I'm sure many people wouldn't disagree. Our football program will bounce back. I'm sure everyone will be surprised at how well our team does this year. They're pissed and they've got something to prove. I just feel badly for all of the kids who DIDN'T do anything - which is the majority of the team - getting shafted for the actions of a handful. Disgraceful. I am SO happy Pryor isn't going back to that campus - he would get chased right on out. Link to comment
