What to do when a prisoner is shooting and using normal prisoners as a shield

What the fuck does a CT do to fix this? Seriously, the only way is to shoot him, which will inevitably involve killing non-rebels in the process, or dying.

 

Or is there some crossfire rule that makes it okay to shoot, because people have been whining about this all day long.

Awpers can get a easy shot on him, or not all be in the same spot so you have different views of the prisoners. Crossfire happens, we usually don't punish for it if it was a mistake.

you cant always control so if they get crossfire its not the cts fault so if you feel bad you can kill yourself

Well if the guy who is standing infront of the guy with the gun and you tell him to get out of the way and he does not just shoot him

i mean it'd be no different if someone snitched you out, they are basically putting you in the position where you can/will be killed. you should try to remain active in the game and be aware if someone going to pull that an avoid them, besides, if you see a friendly T with a pistol on his hip you should avoid him anyway just in the event of huge amounts of crossfire hitting you directly in the temple

that sums it up

you can open fire and if an innocent is in the way too bad

if they complain well tell him/her "blame your buddy for using you as a meat shield or yourself for being dumb enough to stay in the line of fire"

 

although unless you are looking for the pistol chances are you wont notice it smart players choose skins that cover the gun better than the medic skin (like the arctic avengers this way the gun isn't just hanging off and clearly visible)

if there is no way to get a clear shot then just shoot through them, if they bitch about freekill then tell them it wasnt freekill, it was crossfire, or apologize right after it happens, like say "sorry 'whoever got killed in crossfire' you got caught in crossfire", many people will understand that it happens, but there will also be those people that cant wrap the concept of crossfire around their tiny brains and keep crying freekill, and they usually forget about it after a while or rage quit

 

to really sum things up, crossfire happens, if people cant accept it they can fuck off =]

The best idea would be to try and take that person out first and avoid the meatshield.

I prefer to use short controlled bursts to stay accurate but if you are purposely using yourself as a shield for someone else than perhaps you need to get shot

I completely agree with that.

 

Just saying for future reference I would suggest that you still just make sure you aren't freekilling. There is a difference between crossfire and freekilling. If you are trying to kill the person and you kill the other walking in front that is one thing but if you just blatantly open fire on all around that is freekilling and you can't claim crossfire.
