jihad bomb

Make it so the bomb is for T's only cause if a T buys one and switches to CT, the bomb gets glitched and T's cant buy it till someone goes to CT and brings it back over to T.

 

Might be the same issue with Spectate but im not 100% on that one.

If the bomb plug-in is open source and in a language I can understand then I might be able to fix it.

 

Ideally:

If bomb is not used in 3 rounds, it gets reset.

If player who wears the bomb leaves, it gets reset.

 

 

Are there any other known issues?

 

Like stated if the player switches to CT make it reset and if they switch to spectator have it reset. Also maybe the possibility of adding a menu such as !bomb but this isn't something really necessary because most people know the commands now anyway and have them binded.

i would make the round limit longer (5-6) before it gets reset because alot of people, me included, wait for a good moment to get 2+ ct's with the bomb, having only 3 rounds to do so doesnt give you much of a chance

as much as i agree with the time limit being to short, i also would have to disagree because if you have the bomb for 3 rounds and not using it then someone else should get the chance to blow up some CTs.

 

also i do realize that you may be waiting on the right time, but someone else may have had a GREAT shot to blow up 2-3 CTs.

Nope, that should basically be it. The main problems with the Jihad bomb is that players buy them don't use them, then the map changes and the Jihad mod is bugged. Would be amazing to see that being fixed.

 

And the 3 rounds sound pretty cool. That way more people get the opportunity to use the Jihad once, and not that there's only one guy who's keeping the Jihad for 5/6 rounds.

Actually the bomb doesn't get glitched on map change, only if that player drops from the server. You can carry bombs over from map to map which can be a problem because if that player becomes a CT they do forget that they actually still have it and can use it as a CT. A glitch that needs to be fixed. So the only problem occurs when the player buys the bomb but disconnects/drops before using it.

can i suggest increasing the amount of bombs to 2? i know might ruin it for ct completly is why i suggest

 

The only reason why I see people suggesting this is because they want their turn to use the bomb because others hold it too long. But imagine how easy it would be for T's to win with 2 bombs. Just think of the map razor and how hard that map is defend for CTs already then adding yet another bomb? This would make it almost impossible. I know it could be funnier to have more bombs and stuff but to be honest some of these maps are hard enough as is to play as CT with just 1 bomb.

NOOOOOOO WAY, we don't need 2 bombs, that would be stupid, and the CTs would never have a chance to win, OR both bombs would be bought, then some brilliant person would ask for a third bomb, then a fourth
