Teamkilling?

I just want to know if teamkilling in jail break, either by giving away teammate's positions while alive, or by using props such as soccer balls or trashcans, is against the rules. A few weeks ago a T was being a mole for the CTs and giving away names of rebellers. I said though it was against the rules(and I know it was a year ago), but he said that no longer applied. Many people, including admins, also use props to fight and kill each other. Me and an admin even fought each other with a trash can at the beginning of the round. A few games later, a different admin was on and threated to slay me if I did it.

 

I looked in the motd and rules on the forums and didn't catch anything about teamkilling. Is this against the rules?

it is against the rules, and giving away a team mates position if they are rebelling or ratting on them if they rebelled can be considered teamkilling if they end up getting killed due to it

Here is the thing about team killing... and this is what I would do....

 

If you get killed with a soccer ball, it's your own fault. I'll assume you were not paying attention or you were trying to kill other people anyway. It's not hard to avoid being hit by it. I know there are some areas where you can't avoid being killed like vending machines, but ah well, tough shit.

 

EDIT: I will add that if I do see someone blatantly trying to kill off his teammates, then I would warn him for it and act as necessary. But most people who get killed by props are also trying to teamkill. It's really a catch 22.

 

If I see a T giving away people who are actually rebelling and playing the T side like they are suppose to... then I will follow procedures on them. Warning, kick, ban. Simple as that.

 

But that's just me.

I have seen situations where the CTs threaten the T's to give up their teammates......

you don't have to give your team up, just tell them NO, if they still push it, keep saying NO. they really cant kill you over that

I never seen the whole "Give up fellow T's" thing when I play on JB. The Tking thing isn't a big deal since most are guilty when they end up getting tk'd since they are usually trying to do the same to the other person. Also if a CT threatens you to give up fellow T's then tell them to go fuck themselves, and if they kill you then make sure you demo'd it and post a complaint since that is a freekill.

If you are in soccer and you get killed its your fault, ratting on your teammates is punishable.

it is and some times (like you and the admin Im guessing supa) were just doing it for fun some admins dont like it becasue people complain so that is Tking and it is not allowed. Now If I call out and say Sucide has a gun kill him That is also tking and can be kicked/slayed for.

Its happened before, which I then slayed for it. I rather have my teammate alive to help me rather hunted by CTs unexpected.

i thought as a ct u would have to witness who did it not have someone else say it cause chances are its a lie tryin to get someone else killed
