Buying a laptop- Need advice

Need help finding a laptop under $900 with the following requirements:

 

i5 Processor,

At least a 640GB Hard Drive,

4-8GB Memory,

14-15" Screen,

and a 6 cell battery.

 

I have no idea what any of that means but apparently it's supposed to be good...? I need help finding something like that and also in the general price range, can go to $1,200 if need be, but I'm trying to stick to the $900 or under area.

 

I found a few laptops, with the help of Reon, and I don't know if they're good, but they seem to fit the requirements:

I suggest going with Toshiba or Acer they are pretty reliable.

Newegg.com - Acer Aspire TimelineX AS5830TG-6402 Notebook Intel Core i5 2410M(2.30GHz) 15.6" 6GB Memory DDR3 1066 640GB HDD 5400rpm DVD Super Multi NVIDIA GeForce GT 520M This has higher battery life than all that you listed i think up to 9 hours apparently and packs a punch.

 

 

Both are same price but your choice though they have minor differences. Oh and the laptops you listed all have Intel graphics and are probably integrated so thats not nearly as good as a dedicated card like the ones i listed.

Here's a list with the specs you've given. And like Silva said, try to stay away from integrated graphics.
