I think the card can take it.. but you'll fuck your electricity bill in the butt cause your AC wont keep up. I dont if many people realize how much heat a PC releases in a room everyday.. I have an old GPU i think runs about 40 iddle maybe 60 in game.. it gets hot in my room!

hey tweezy, I was wondering about Radeon HD 6870 you suggested. Do you know alot about the "Eyefinity" thing. I hear you can set up 3 monitors with one GPU? Do you know if all 3 of those monitors have to be the same resolution or do I need a special adapter?

You need an Active Converter which could be expensive such as Amazon.com: Accell UltraAV B087B-002B DisplayPort/DVI-D Dual-Link Adapter (Black): Electronics but defiantly look into this i know there are cheaper and not sure which you need for example DVI-VGA, display port to DVI, Mini display to display and so on.

 

As for the different resolutions for gaming you would have to change the monitor with the higher resolution to match the resolution of the other monitors. For regular desktop work you can have the monitors at different resolutions.
