Back in 2010 my friend turned a NES into a HTPC build. So far it has only been able to be seen in person. Now he has finally uploaded a video of it up to YouTube. I thought you guys & gals would appreciate the novelty of this build.

So this kid has made a running computer working at 120 watts. Thats kids gonna be fucking rich one day.

It's actually pretty simple. The CPU itself only has a TDP of 73W. He's cutting it pretty close but it plays games just fine. I agree though, he is a very smart person. He's got a bright future ahead of him.

I don't know man.. the airflow on that thing must be really poor when it starts to heat up a lot.....

Yeah back during my December 2010 LAN it would overheat after about 30 min of L4D2. He has since tweaked the cooling and at my latest July 2011 LAN he never had any problems with the cooling.

That is awsome, no one would think thats a PC from the front haha.

Yeah it really is the star at my LANs. Everyone has to look at it even if they have already seen it before.

held together by tape and cardboard lol

Yeah haha that wouldn't be my first choice but obviously it works pretty well.
