I've never seen it done with un-biological stuff. Yes the technology exists to print organs. No it is not precise (they cant actually make a full heart yet) To print organs they need a sample of your cells that theyre trying to print, or of a donor thats compatible. They replicate the cells, a lot, and use them as ink. Then it just does the same thing. Saw on a show somewhere they printed the wall to a heart valve, and it started expanding and shrinking on the table like it was trying to pump blood. Freaked me out HOLY SHIT........It's like Repo Men. That movie was fucked up. but this printer is mad cooool. my mind will be blowing for a while.
