Didn't really show much of the gameplay...it does look pretty though. Too bad they had to redo the Hell March, the old one was perfect and the new version...well, isn't. If they'd gotten Klepacki to do the music for this one I'd play it through even if it wasn't good, just for the soundtrack.

 

The Red Alert series has been the only consistently GOOD sect of the C&C franchise IMO (seems like everything with the Red Alert title is awesome, while all the other C&C titles range from "pretty good" down), so I'm hopeful for this one.

i would disagree with the consistent part i think c&c has been pretty consistent

Remember that both Red alert, and the Tiberium series are related to each other. Einstein goes back in time to rid Hitler from the past, using the Chronosphere. By doing this, he creates a parallel timeline, causing different events to occur. For example, since Hitler has been removed from history, the Soviet union has allowed itself to grow mighty and powerful, and eventually, Stalin wishes to invade and conquer Europe. how Eventually, the Allies foil his plan, and Stalin is defeated.

 

Years later, to prevent a similar occurence of the Soviet invasion, the Allies set up a group, known as the Global Defence Initiative (similar to NATO), a group that co-ordinates operations with the United Nations, to combat terrorism, assist with natural disasters etc. During the aftermath of the war between the Allies and the Russians, GDI began to take in research plans from the Soviets arsenal, such as the iconic Mammoth tank, to use for their own arsenal.

 

All is well.

Until, years later, an asteroid, crashes into the tiber river valley bed. Scientists investigate the crash site, and find a collection of crystals, that are unknown. The scientists take a sample of the meteor with them to study, place it in an observing room, and find that days later, it had spread itself all across the room. Also, they found that somehow, the substance appeared to have poisoned them whilst they handled it.

later, the Brotherhood of Nod came to power, from its tiberium based economy.
