Chaoz` Posted January 14, 2013 Content Count: 1740 Joined: 04/04/10 Status: Offline Share Posted January 14, 2013 If it is there, I would recommend the HIS 7970 X2 but you will need to change the Motherboard for one that supports PCI-Express 3.0. you seriously don't need a 7990, it's way overpriced. just stick with the GTX680, it will last you around 3-5 years. but ye as Tweezy said, you should get a PCIe 3.0 mobo, not a lot of improvement either tbh, but go with brands like ASUS, MSI, ... get the P8Z77 Deluxe, it come with bluetooth and wifi and such. James Posted January 14, 2013 Content Count: 2645 Joined: 06/05/07 Status: Offline Share Posted January 14, 2013 Unless you plan to use this computer as a server, or are going to be doing very intensive 3D rendering etc etc, there is absolutely NO point in getting 32gb of RAM. 8 gigs is more than enough, even for 64 bit operating systems, any more than that will not improve the performance for your games.
