omarfire00 Posted January 20, 2013 Content Count: 939 Joined: 01/21/12 Status: Offline Share Posted January 20, 2013 Well recently I have been having these problems that prevent me from finishing up maps/running the maps. I went searching for some solutions on the internet and found none, so if you know what to do or find a link that could help me solve these problems, I'll be very thankful. The problem when I run is that it doesn't compile correctly or that it's missing something.. look in the video of what I mean, Here This is what it says on the Compile Process Windows... ** Executing... ** Command: "c:\program files (x86)\steam\steamapps\omarfire00\sourcesdk\bin\orangebox\bin\vbsp.exe" ** Parameters: -game "d:\steam\steam\steamapps\omarfire00\counter-strike source\cstrike" "D:\Maps\Test_1.vmf" * Could not execute the command: "c:\program files (x86)\steam\steamapps\omarfire00\sourcesdk\bin\orangebox\bin\vbsp.exe" -game "d:\steam\steam\steamapps\omarfire00\counter-strike source\cstrike" "D:\Maps\Test_1.vmf" * Windows gave the error message: "Access is denied." ** Executing... ** Command: "c:\program files (x86)\steam\steamapps\omarfire00\sourcesdk\bin\orangebox\bin\vvis.exe" ** Parameters: -game "d:\steam\steam\steamapps\omarfire00\counter-strike source\cstrike" -fast "D:\Maps\Test_1" * Could not execute the command: "c:\program files (x86)\steam\steamapps\omarfire00\sourcesdk\bin\orangebox\bin\vvis.exe" -game "d:\steam\steam\steamapps\omarfire00\counter-strike source\cstrike" -fast "D:\Maps\Test_1" * Windows gave the error message: "Access is denied." ** Executing... ** Command: "c:\program files (x86)\steam\steamapps\omarfire00\sourcesdk\bin\orangebox\bin\vrad.exe" ** Parameters: -game "d:\steam\steam\steamapps\omarfire00\counter-strike source\cstrike" -noextra "D:\Maps\Test_1" * Could not execute the command: "c:\program files (x86)\steam\steamapps\omarfire00\sourcesdk\bin\orangebox\bin\vrad.exe" -game "d:\steam\steam\steamapps\omarfire00\counter-strike source\cstrike" -noextra "D:\Maps\Test_1" * Windows gave the error message: "Access is denied." ** Executing... ** Command: Copy File ** Parameters: "D:\Maps\Test_1.bsp" "c:\program files (x86)\steam\steamapps\omarfire00\counter-strike source\cstrike\maps\Test_1.bsp" The command failed. Windows reported the error: "The system cannot find the file specified." _________________________________________________________________________________ And the problem with VTFedit is that it always tell me something is wrong with the side-by-side configuration for the program, look at the screen shot to see what I mean, Here If you find a solution for any of these problems, please inform me. Problem 2 is kind of complicating, I went on the website where I downloaded VTFedit and it said that I must download Microsoft .NET Framework Version 2.0 and Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 SP1, which I did and then restarted my computer but it didn't work.. So I was going to contact the guy who said if it didn't work, contact him. But if you know the solution, it would e great to tell me. Nem's Tools [VTFLib - Download] Link to comment
