If you guys have a problem with some of the maps on the server then you can put up a removal vote. It's been brought to my attention that some players (including an admin) were saying that I add things purposefully to go against the majority of the player base. I've basically either help manage (maps + rule adding) or full on managed the server since I joined lol - from modgers to beth to jen and now to me, so it's a pretty dumbass thing to say I'd purposefully do something to irritate the playerbase. I can't know how you guys all feel unless you put up a vote to remove stuff or just overall bring new ideas forward. I'm not unreasonable and have implemented (or at least tried) a few of your suggestions into the server. I am incredibly busy at this point in my life with RL and am not ignoring the server, it's just taking me a bit longer to get to everything - I have like 2 other servers I'm managing and trying to do college stuff at the same time.

 

Long story short I'm not ignoring you guys, and I wouldn't even post this if I didn't care. But it irritates me when stupid shit that was said goes around. If you guys have a problem with something on the server then put up a removal request. The only time I'll auto reject it is if I have a really good reason, but generally I'll hear out all reasonable requests / ideas.

I don't want to put in a removal for it but that minecraft map you added has some DL problems and most people cannot join and the server dies. IDK what exactly wrong with it but some people tell me they have DL problems. If you can look into that, that would be great, thank you.

Next time how about asking me what I said? I didn't say that you purposefully add maps against the player base. I was a little irked among other things that you acknowledged that old school maps haven't worked with the current player base before, but then two hours after one was requested you immediately added it and another one to the server. This is on top of the fact that I said I'd work on uploading a map to test only to have you pop up and immediately add it.

 

I've always appreciated the work you put in to these servers, but seriously some of the rest of us AOs are trying to help out but you seem to not want it. I'm sorry I don't know jack shit about our Trikz and Skill Surf servers, aside from I'm bad at them both, to be of any good help there.

 

I guess my point here is maybe you should have come to me instead of pulling this passive aggressive bullshit. And don't try to throw the "busy" card. I have a full time job and a kid, so I'm busy as well. But I tried to message you about this last night and you were the one that opted to ignore me.

Mmm I'm not sure what you're talking about, because about half of what I was talking about wasn't even done in the servers. You need to check whatever is bothering you at the door, because you're going off on people (like myself, other CE's, and other SA's). Chill out. When I got AO the first time I had trouble with that too, and needed Huwajux to tell me to calm down. Well I'm telling you now that you need to calm down because I don't know where you're coming at me with this.

 

I didn't respond to your steam message because I didn't feel like dealing with that drama shit you create, which is exactly what is being done now. If you have a problem with me take it to PM, you're the only one pulling any type of passive aggressiveness here and frankly, you look like a bit of an ass doing it.

 

As far as "other AO's" helping, YOU need to step up and do something. I let D2W / Para fool around with GG, you with PB, BW with Surf DM, etc. Sorry, but I'm not teaching every single one of you how to fully manage a server. We have open servers that have nothing on them being used - create your own server and learn how to do different things on it. I have no problem answering questions you guys have, but I am the same rank as all of you. I have the same power you guys have, whether it's in the servers or just power of opinion. I let you all come under my wing with different servers to LEARN how to generally manage something, then from there create your own thing, manage something we already have, or if I want to give you what I manage then so be it.

 

 

Side note, a 'busy' card is completely acceptable. To tell somebody "I have a kid and a full time job" as an excuse for why nobody else can be busy is ridiculous. You have absolutely no idea what is going in my life for you to say that, so think next time before you say something like that again.
