Anyone play guitar?

Just curious if anyone else plays guitar. If so, what kind of guitar/amp/gear do you have, what kind of music do you play, and how long have you been playing?

 

I play an Ibanez RG3EX1 with EMG passive pickups. My amp is a Fender Hot Rod III tube amp. Pedals are Boss ds-1, mt-2, ns-2, dd-3, rv-5, and a Crybaby wah pedal.

I have a Fender Stratocaster, standard (it was like $450. It's got a beautiful sunburst finish with a rosewood fingerboard.

I have a Peavey amp (don't know what kind, it's fucking huge though) and a Fender Mustang II. I currently do not have any pedals, but I was thinking of getting a rotary pedal. I play a lot of Red Hot Chili Peppers, Pearl Jam, and some other miscellaneous songs I hear from bands, generally the funk/grunge type genre is what I'm into. I started playing about 8 years ago, but didn't really get serious with my guitar and playing it all the time until about two years ago. I've had my robotics club which is very demanding so I haven't been able to play as much as I used to .

My main baby right now. Got some open Crate amp with no manual some years ago, still never found out the model. Played for a little over 7 years now. I don't really cover too many songs. I occasionally improv, but I mostly focus on songwriting, though my work ethic has resulted in about a dozen completed songs over the years and literally thousands of short riffs and snippets on my hard drive.

I play guitar too, and I guess I play alot different from y'all seemin you guys play metal and stuff. But I just got a cheap little Washburn only like 200 bucks, sold my other guitar to help pay for some parts in my truck. But I play alot of 90s alternative rock and country. I also play for the church, lots of fun

I have a Fender Telecaster for my electric, the original made in the USA. Also a Montaya steel string acoustic, and a

yamaha apx500 black steel string acoustic. I prefer my acoustic to play, but I listen to a lot of rock alternative/punk, and speed/trash metal. I've been playing since 6th grade, and still love to play. I tried to perform with a band for a while, but I didn't like it so I just play because I enjoy doing it.

I am horribly out of practice so I wouldn't quite say I can play guitar. I can try though. I have a 1995 Fender American Strat Plus

I have two, but they aren't with me and I don't know the models off of the top of my head. Was pretty good about 4-5 years ago, but gave it up. So yeah. Been thinking about relearning doe.

I see it as a good pass-time, I mean even if you've taken a break from it for an extended period of time it'll probably come back to you easily.
