I don't know what you are confused about. People are dropping out of the tournament. So they are being replaced.

Me and Skitz already decided to play our match this Saturday at 5pm EST or there abouts.

 

The problem here for most people is that there can only be matches played when there is free time, in which case it's usually the weekend. In that case you're lucky to get a team to play a match once a week, which is just about what I've done for my team since the timezones are annoying, and the people are not always online. It's about as good as it gets tbh.

I am going to have to step out of the tourney. In a few hours ill be on an airplane going to egypt, so ill let anyone take my spot. Ill be in egypt before the time of the match but im not sure ill have internet then. So anyone could take my spot but ill let sexualharrasment panda take my spot. If he doesn't agree then anyone else could dicide from my team.

Just for future reference for any and all tournaments (I hope) if a player is on a team that is knocked out of the tournament, they cannot join a new team that is still in the same tournament. That would be lame to give someone multiple chances at winning a tournament.

I think the amount of subs people are getting for their teams is somewhat undermining this whole randoming process. We're essentially playing a different team entirely and it just allows better players to replace shitty ones. I could, for instance, say Scuba is not on our team because he's never around or available to play and therefore replace him with some 100% experienced competitive player who I know that would rape 95% of SG players easy.

 

Honestly if teams cannot play with their players they need to pull out of the competition. I do know that this is supposed to be a warm up to a 5 v 5 and being so far along, it would be pointless to do this now so I'm not saying it should be done now. But it should be taken into account for any future competition.

It isn't. It's natural for players to have other priorities other than gaming, and it certainly isn't a problem so long as you don't do it to get a better player on your team lol.
