preferably not wireless, dont care if its laser/infrared

been looking at the cyborg rat5/rat7

anybody have one? pros/cons? is the 7 worth the higher cost? any other mice i should look at?

Idk, my SteelSeries Xai serves me damn well, but mice are all about personal preference as it's your hand they need to fit. Go to a shop and try out a bunch of different ones would be my advice.

Edit: The Xai and Sensei are identical ergonomics wise I believe, just improved software and such on the Sensei. Also more fancy lights n' stuff.

I've been with Logitech for a while and not one of their mice has disappointed me. My two favorites have been the G500 and the G9X (they're pretty similar in functionality, though the ergonomics and design are different). I love the weight-tuning system on both of them, though I always keep it on the heaviest setting. The on-the-fly DPI switch is also pretty useful, though I rarely find myself using it for CSS.

I have a QPAD 5K Pro QPAD Products - Corporate-QPAD®|5K™ Gaming Laser Mouse - Shop - News

My hands are quite big so this mouse is just perfect for me. Very smooth movements and very comfortable. I recommend it.

Mice you should not go for: CM Storm/Sentinel and Roccat. Also, if you haven't already noticed; Razer mice are of poor quality. I know for sure that Steelseries and QPAD mice are of top quality.

i would, but no stores within an hour of me carry gaming mice lol.

Oh damn, that really blows. IMO that's probably the best thing to do when picking a mouse.

Well idk, the Deathadder is fine for me as well, so I guess the Xai/Sensei isn't far off from it ergonomics wise.

Amazon.com: Logitech Wireless Gaming Mouse G700: Electronics

I got this mouse around Christmas. I love it.

Whats good:

Size-larger than most mice I ever used..

Wired & Wireless - I prefer wireless because I hate having the cord getting tangled and snagged. But it works great wired( I have had to use it wired when the battery dies and its recharging)

DPI settings/Buttons- You can change the dpi on the fly and program the 8 buttons with logitechs software (easy and simple to use)

Battery- Comes with a GOOD/RELIABLE AA Rechargeable battery. It will also take and charge any other rechargeable battery you might have laying around.

If you do end up taking a look at the g700.. let me know if you have anymore questions.

ended up going to best buy yesterday and checked out some logitech and steelseries mice. sizes were good but none really felt too well in my hand, so i ended up getting a rat 7. wasnt planning on getting one yesterday but it was on sale :p

but so far im happy with it, love how i can customize it to fit my hand how i want it to, its much heavier than my deathadder, even with all the extra weights taken out, but ive noticed and motions while gaming is much more smooth. gonna take a little while to get used to it but im seeing it as a great buy.

thanks guys!
