New Headset

Well the day has finally arrived, my headset is fucked! So i need a new one, My favorite make is Razer, I'm willing to spend roughly £80 which is like $130 or some shizzle so if anyone could recommend anything i would greatly appreciate it! thanks!

Personally I prefer the Siberia v2 over Razer any day, but probably just preference. It does work quite well for me though.

I'm mainly looking for microphone quality as well as sound, 7.1 surround sound would be a great upgrade, has the Siberia V2 got a good microphone?

I have used higher end headphones from Sennheiser many times as well as some of their lower end products. I can vouch for them having extremely precise sound. They are a high end and professional audio company that makes nothing but headphones and microphones. Who better to buy a headset from? From a quick glance on their UK site It looks like these Sennheiser UK - PC 320 Sennheiser UK - PC 323D Sennheiser UK - PC 330

are available in your price range and they seem to get rather expensive after that.

It should also be noted that surround headphones tend to offer very little improvement over stereo headphones if any and tend to actually be worse when listening to music. There is a reason the nicest headphones are exclusively stereo.

so just so you know all the gaming branded headphone are subpar quality. Razer prolly takes the crown for shittiest. Sennheiser is awesome if you dont wanna be buying headphones in less than a year buy sennheiser. Zalman mic works well with it. Serbia is garbage to.. Fanbois are gonna hate but I have no time to explain this in detail just take my and all the others that tell you this' word! also search feature on this subforum will bring like 30 threads about this!! with mmore detail explanation

I love how every time this thread happens it happens exactly the same way. Sad but true. After all this time people still haven't figured out that a company that has been making high end microphones and headphones for the last 70 years makes better headphone and mics than a company that has been making PC peripherals.
