SilentGuns Posted June 16, 2013 Content Count: 4799 Joined: 08/14/08 Status: Offline Share Posted June 16, 2013 I'll give you new players some tips that, whilst they aren't necessary, it will certainly make the game more enjoyable. First things first, buy premium. Premium is essentially earning 50% extra credits and experience and it will certainly stop you drooling over your vegetated body whilst you click battle and get wrecked with a shitty team and grind 10000 matches to get to tier 6. Yes, I know this game is free so why bother? Simple answer is you'll get to the better tanks faster, and you'll probably enjoy the game more. Secondly, you can pay real money to get premium tanks which are pretty good, but most people go for the tier 8 premiums. This doesn't mean to say they paid to win, because they can get wrecked as easily as you do, they just got a quick tank. So if you want to pay for your tank with real money, go for a tier 8, and certainly don't get the KV-5. Trust me. Finally, don't play with Harpreet. That is all. Either they are greedy as fuck or they set ridiculous prices on gold just so the game wouldn't become unfair . I lol'd when I saw the prices. or maybe I am just poor Link to comment

Actualy, as far as I know, the premium tanks are inferior to their free counterparts. The premium tanks do however make more money and thats what you are really paying for. Link to comment

Lux Posted June 17, 2013 Content Count: 6712 Joined: 03/06/08 Status: Offline Share Posted June 17, 2013 High ping would ruin it for me , also I don't want to lose my progress I play on the US servers and do not really notice it. Unlike a game like CSS the difference is not very noticeable. I'll give you new players some tips that, whilst they aren't necessary, it will certainly make the game more enjoyable. Premium - Almost $100 a year. I will admit some of the grinds (amx40..) have been so.... SO boring and frustrating... also in the later stages making money is quite tedious, I can't upgrade tanks because I have no credits. Lowe T8 Premium tank - Over $50..... for a tank on a game. Personal opinion..... ridiculous. I suppose it's up to people how they want to spend money. I'm quite content with how I've done without spending much (I spent $7 to get enough to buy extra garage slots). Link to comment

If it was not a F2P the avrage game price is 60 so spending that 50 something is basically like buying the game. Link to comment

I'll pay for something if it's worth it. Sure, World of Tanks being free is great. But what I'm paying for is extra content, not World of Tanks. I think you have to decide for yourself if what you're paying for is worth it, and have your own reasons. My $50 is not life or death for them. Hate to say it, but if other people are going to pay a lot of money and keep the game going, that particular aspect does not concern me. Whether I pay or not, others still will That's not to say I won't pay for stuff. I did spend $7 so I could get a few garage spots. But for me, that's because I can't get it otherwise. A grind does not bother me enough to spend $50 on a tank. That's the only difference. Link to comment

Would rather play CoD with the 12 year olds at that point. To new players: way too grindy to start, listen to spraytans advice. Link to comment
