Ganzta Posted June 23, 2013 Content Count: 2122 Joined: 08/12/08 Status: Offline Share Posted June 23, 2013 My current laptop has done its duty for the past five years, but it's falling apart (literally). So I need a new one. Budget: under $1000. I'll be doing some gaming, but as long as shit can run on medium, I'm cool. Link to comment

Alienware M14x Gaming Laptop | Dell I highly recommend this laptop, lightweight, good battery life, plenty of power, and well built. Link to comment

Does anyone have any thoughts on the Y500? My fucking God. Never go with a Lenovo. I actually at one point had gotten that laptop. The dual graphics of Lenovo is pure crap, they don't switch over to the GeForce. At points, your computer will actually just shut off. After trying and trying to fix it, I sold it and got an MSI. I highly, highly HIGHLY suggest avoiding Lenovo all together and do suggest getting the MSI laptop. The MSI I got after my Lenovo experience is nothing short of amazing. Link to comment
