Buying new custom PC, need suggestion, mainly GPU

I am going to buy parts for custom Gaming PC, so I need some suggestion here.

 

Firstly,is GeForce GTX 690 better than the GeForce 700 series in gaming? One of the shop i asked said that the 700 series is better than the GTX 690, so I hope whoever have GTX 690 could share their experience about it

The 700 series is just the newer version of the graphics cards. The 690 is from the 600 series which is now the old version.

I really hope that whoever you asked didn't say that all cards from the 700 series are better than the GTX 690, because if so, that retard should get fired.

Pretty sure it goes like this, from lowest performance to highest perfomance(not including TI, SE and Titan):

550, 650, 750(once it is released)

560, 660, 760

570, 670, 770

and so on and so on

The 690 will out preform the lower 700 series cards.

As far as i know the 690 is one of the best graphics cards on the market.

660 is a slightly upgraded version of the 560, and the 760 is a slightly upgraded version of the 660. (Yadda-yadda, and so on.)

Honestly, though... You don't have to spend a mountain of cash on a graphics card. The new 700 series' GTX 770 can run all the newest games and the rest of the GPU heavy applications with 60+ FPS, and it only costs half of what a TITAN costs.
