Hey guys, recently I have been having lag spikes when playing css and have come to the conclusion that its my wireless router (wrt54gl). It is just over a year old.

What router would you recommend for me?

1 Desktop (email... web surfing.. facebook - for my parents)

My laptop (heavy internet usuage)

Android tablet

2x smartphones

I basically want a router that will go best for Time Warner Cable (up to 15Mbps) and my heavy downloading..

Thanks

I also need to get a router because mine died about 4 days ago, though, I'm not in need of one atm but if I'm ever planing on getting a router, I'll like to get this one -> ASUS RT-N56U Wireless Router Dual Band N600 Multimedia Ultra Slim Gigabit 802.11a/b/g/n support USB Storage, Print and Media Server (top performance review at smallnetbuilder.com) - Newegg.com

It has really good reviews and it looks fucking gorgeous! It's exactly what you need for all of those devices running at the same time.

Don't know much about routers(nothing) but hope this helps a bit. ^.^

You can't go wrong with a D-Link N type 300MB/s router. I've had mine now for too many years, works like it's brand new. I won't link you to my version, but when I bought it it was £50. This will do you PERFECTLY.

Cycled through many highly rated or award-winning routers over the last few months to settle upon the Batman router.
