IMO, there is a reason they're forum banned and not server banned, but it's up to XeNo and Caution. Link to comment

Caution Posted August 11, 2013 Content Count: 11501 Joined: 10/19/08 Status: Offline Share Posted August 11, 2013 Been asked by Mick and Kittens to sign them up. I'd also take part... just want to make sure I can commit. What kind of times are the games going to be played? More than likely, Mick and Kittens probably won't be able to participate. As far as times, that will all be worked out by captains. Xeno and myself may set a deadline for each match, but the specific times will be determined by the team's captains. Link to comment

Banned members were allowed to participate in the league of legends tournament. At the end of the day everyone just wants a good tournament, so if they don't break any rules during the tournament I don't see the problem. If you really wish to penalize them, then simply disallow them from winning the prize (in the event that they win). It's all about the game. 1 Link to comment

Tbh that was Spartan's choice at the end of the day, since he ran that tournament...doesn't mean that the same rules carry over to this one. I don't have any personal issues with Mick or Kittens; I think the absolute funniest times in SG were all of the CA meetings with Mick & how mad Tyrant and Jager would get...and I fought constantly for those two guys to not get banned. Hell, I even told Mick to appeal his forum ban and I gave my support for it. Unfortunately, they have dug themselves into a hole (for some reason) with how troll-ish they have become, despite warning after warning. In all honesty, they are a ban waiting to happen at this point. Gonna have to say no. Link to comment

You say it's a simple matter of disallowing them from winning the prize, however if you consider skill alone, they can greatly increase a team's chances of winning. This combined with the fact they are already half-banned from the community, I don't see why we would allow them the chances of winning a community tournament or helping any team win. It is not about the game, it is about giving the community an entertaining tournament and promoting SG as a fun place to stay a part of. I would not like to see half-banned troll members enjoying something those who contribute and manage to not get banned are supposed to enjoy. Link to comment

They are well known enough in our lil 'scrimcommunity' to be invited and first pick/ captain. They've been here since the start of SGSGL. And i can't help but make a comparison to the other tournament where even non sg members were allowed. Link to comment

I fail to see the issue with this. If they wanted to play in tournaments and community events so badly, why did they do so much stupid shit to get banned? Mick and Kittens both say they didn't care when they were forum banned. This is one of the things they miss out on as result of it. Again, what other people decide to do with their tournaments does not mean there is some kind of rule that it will be allowed everywhere. Link to comment
