I'm learning slowly. But what I know right now is that I need a new power supply for my desktop. The 5v line isn't working, is what the guy said. Now, I need to find a decent, and reasonably priced power supply. Please don't be a smartass and link to google, give me serious answers here guys. I really want my computer back. Anyway, it was suggested to me that it be an ATX kind, whatever that means. Link to comment

Before I recommend one I need to know your plans Uhhh. I don't remember much about it. I know I have a motherboard that supports only 2 sticks of DDR2 RAM, the power supply is 580W, i don't recall the video card, and I do plan on making many upgrades. Link to comment

Your motherboard is pretty old. Any chance for a new build? Link to comment
