These two mods are amazing, it pits you and your squad against hordes of antlions for as long as you can last, and it's great fun. I highly recommend these mods. If you have Gmod you can get this for multiplayer too.

 

 

Also, you CAN win both maps, so don't think it's just you lasting as long as you can, both maps have pretty great endings.

No, you can install whatever you want, they are both seperate.

 

 

It's just it follows kind of a story, in the first one you are a private, and in the second you are higher in command. Play in any order.

 

 

 

also to play the first one you have to read the readme to know where to put the files. The second one is a mod just like other mods, it installs itself.

I was on one of the starship troopers mod teams for HL1 and sony actually shut us down. It was a sad day too, we had everything programmed and used to sit inside the roger young launching mini nukes at each other.
