Make admin apps public, and anyone reg+ can apply (I don't personally think it should be Sup only...that defeats the purpose of 'free' admin). Everyone Reg+ can comment on applications, obviously stupid posts will get moderated. When it seems that there is no more input, a BD goes through and approves / denies it. If it's denied, CE's + can discuss a reapply period. There aren't votes...it's simply a comment. And no more required recommendations. This will hopefully increase the amount of admins we have by a bit.

 

This is the OLD system with a twist of adding the CE's and restricting it to Reg+.

 

Well that makes a lot of sense really, it keeps the random MG trolls out, brings to light the community's opinion of someone before giving them admin, and puts to death the notion that that admin process is corrupt.

Just gonna expand on this as I just noticed I didn't really discuss it in my original post. For the TF2 fun server it's not so much the plugins so much as it is the map rotation. A good map rotation is much more appealing than good plugins. In fact I'd be willing to bet that most players prefer vanilla gameplay anyway. Still, there are some quality of life plugins that could be utilized to attract players that don't really disrupt the gameplay too much (such as having a 24/7 halloween mode plugin). I could come up with a starter list of maps as well as some plugins to consider if requested.

 

As for DotA, I did mention a couple in my previous post and I could easily list a dozen more. It feels rather futile though as unless you guys have been considering it for a while or feel really strongly about it, that it's probably best just to wait and see about the map editor release. There would be no point for you guys to work hard on setting up your own custom servers only to have the map editor be released a week later.

0 point in halting other possible changes if people find it discussion worthy; I'm pretty sure multi-tasking is possible. The admin application process is PRETTY important.
