New Server: Soccer!

There was quite a bit of support for a soccer server, so here it is!

The server is running Soccer Mod 2011

 

With it, admins can start and stop matches as they please, change the names of the teams, and change the map. These are Options 1 and 6 on the admin menu, which can be accessed by typing !menu. The mod will keep track of the score, whoever scored, and whoever assisted. Each match that is played consists of two 15 minute halves, with a 5 second half-time. If you're an SA+ and would like to have soccer admin, message me your steam ID or find me in game and I will add you manually.

 

You are able to kill eachother with the ball, but you will need to do 250+ damage in one hit. You respawn back on the field a few seconds after you die. Also, a pretty useful command to use is !sprint, it will give you a temporary speed boost.

 

I'll also be hosting a small soccer tourney on the server in the coming weeks, so be sure to look out for it!

Server is p fun but i would like to see different gamemodes type of things like 2 soccer balls at once or if you die your out. also if it possible to show where the ball is on the minimap

Dunno anything about gamemodes. unless someone basically takes the map we use and make changes to it.. and maybe we can see how it is.. For the minimap: AFAIK there is no way to make the ball appear on the minimap.. but Ill ask Paul/MPQC/ people who run the 'big boy' soccer server

 

I do however have a minimap for the maps. so you can kinda get a feel as to where you are.. Ill post it once the soccer subforum is up
