shoiep Posted March 25, 2014 Content Count: 2941 Joined: 02/11/12 Status: Offline Share Posted March 25, 2014 Steelseries siberia v2 is the headset I am using right now, but it breaks way to easily. It have broken 4 times on me in a fairly short timeframe. How in the world have you managed to break 4 headsets(or do you mean broken one headset in 4 different ways??) in a short time?? Had my old Siberia v2 for at least 1½ year and it still works perfectly Going with Banana Joe here. How did you manage to break it four times? I've ran over with my chair and dropped the Siberia V2 countless of times and it still works perfectly, albeit, with a few small cracks in the plastic. Link to comment

Had my old Siberia v2 for at least 1½ year and it still works perfectly(upgraded since I wanted fancy lights + the mic is slightly better, was a good deal I caught). Only other headset I've really tried is the G35(besides some Razer ones, but I can't really recommend them) and it was OK IMO, didn't use it for long though. All headsets broke the same way (it was separate headsets, not one breaking in 4 ways): the right or left side of the headset stopped playing any sounds at all (which is pretty much the end of the world for me, I can't play without full surround sound). As I already have said, this have happened to me 4 times in a rather short timeframe (around a half year). I have never been too careful with my headsets, sometimes dumping them on the ground because I am distracted. But then again I have never before broken 4 headsets of the same kind before within such a short timeframe. Edited March 25, 2014 by ExileD my grammar is horrific Link to comment

Steel headband and posts. I cant imagine you could break them through normal use. Link to comment

The in-line box it comes with can be kinda bulky but it does offer good sound quality, plus you can adjust the individual speaker output levels. Link to comment

Currently using the Frost Blue Edition and I had the normal black version before. Can perfectly use it to hear where people are and the mic is pretty decent from what I've been told, just don't put it directly in front of your mouth lol. Idk how much better the Siberia Elite is, haven't tried it so far. Yup I recommend those too just treat em well and place em on a flat surface after you're done and you're gold. Aside from that I recommend them to friend before cuz his mom keeps breaking his headphones somehow....in short they are so durable and flexible with the best comfort Link to comment
Sleggie Posted April 3, 2014 Content Count: 940 Joined: 12/22/12 Status: Offline Share Posted April 3, 2014 Logitech G35 since it has cool sound, nice mic, nice program interface and not too expensive. Go to Futureshop and make them match the amazon price. It worked for me and I saved about 15$. Link to comment
