Seeing as you have wear and tear on your galaxy you might have some on your next. I suggest the LG G Flex or something like that, The back of the phone "heals" itself, So if your keys scratch the back of the phone it tries it best to make the scratch unseen.

All this talk about new phones made me really want a new phone as well!!!!!

Does anyone here own or have tried the Galaxy S5 and the Nexus 5? After watching reviews on both phones i cant seem to make up my mind although i lean more towards the Galaxy S5 because of the big screen and the 16mp camera!

I always wonder how people manage to break their screens. If you're really that bad at taking care of an object, get a Nokia. Those are super solid and awesome. Also, I have a Samsung Ace 2 and it sucks really hard. So don't get it.

I am at work so I will make this short.. "GORRILA GLASS" is all a matketing skem. If you get any scratch in the glass it does degrade the bond of the glass ( and yes gorilla glass does scratch easilly). And for me it cracked the first time in my pocket playing golf.. the 2nd time it dropped rom maybe a foot on to concrete and the third time.. In my pocket again.. So I mean you can blame the user to an extent, bit with devices being so fragile it happens to everyone.

Lol if Apple holds up to their rumors, the iPhone 6 will have a Sapphire Crystal display making it incredibly scratch resistant along with very shatter resistant. The scratch test results are the same for Sapphire (I think like 7-9). Also with the technology, if Apple had the money and time, they could incorporate solar cells into the display to make it charge wirelessly :)

This might not be real, but if it is i will have a hard time choosing between the iphone 6 and the galaxy s5!

It looks exactly like all the other iphones, but bigger. I was really hoping to see something new, something like this!!

UPDATE: Just got the HTC One M8 over the Galaxy S5. Here are my reasons:

1)Sick of the plastic feel of the Galaxy (after owning the s3 for 2 years)

2)Sick of Touchwiz

3)I do watch alot of videos on my phone so the speakers on the HTC One m8 are great.

4)The HTC One m8 still uses micro usb. The Galaxy s5 uses USB 3.0, which means I would of had to buy new chargers and such.

5)Came with HTC Advantage which:

Free one-time cracked screen replacement within first 6months of ownership

50GB online storage

Android software update commitment

You can still use the old micro usb on the S5, Personally i have had the S4 now for 1 year before that i had the S3 i like the Samsung phones the S5 feels more premium and it looks beautiful, That's why i will be upgrading to the New S5 with the Gear 2

Yeah the USB slot supports the old chargers still.

But I'm glad you found what is best for you because that all of these phones have great qualities. I went and tried the phones last week and plan to go with the S5. I never understood the build quality concern mainly because I usually have a case on the phone anyway. I also like that the phone lightweight and you have the ability to swap batteries. I understand that it's not for everyone though!
