Only thing it doesn't have is a removable battery. BUT the battery life is phenomenal, especially compared to me old galaxy s3 (fucking hate samsung galaxy phones now!) The size is perfect IMO and the phone feels solid (fuck your plastic phone samsung!) And the speakers.. OMG what a difference there is compared to my old phone. The dual speakers really make a difference! The HTC also comes with http://www.htc.com/us/advantage/ Link to comment

Dirk Posted August 8, 2014 Content Count: 2167 Joined: 07/14/10 Status: Offline Share Posted August 8, 2014 If you want a long battery life avoid the HTC M8 like plague. It has by far the shortest life of the phones mentioned. The LG G3 has a longer life. Of course it is huge and I don't think that's what you want. The Motorola droid maxx is outdated in the CPU but has nearly 4x the battery life of the M8 and double the next closest thing. Only trouble with that is its Verizon only (unless you buy used) so if you aren't on Verizon then you are up a creek with that one. The galaxy s5 has a removable battery and a quite respectable battery life to start with. You might also consider the LG G2. Nearly the same specs as the G3 minus the 4k screen and its a bit smaller so that might be nice. Link to comment

Really just a nice phone. Don't drop it on the pavement tho, I found out that's pretty dumb. Link to comment

The S5 is fucking huge and it doesn't fit in my pocket. But that's just me. Link to comment

I currently have an iPhone 5s but from everything I've seen I'm thinking about the LG G3. The only downside for you would be the size of it. I'd grab the HTC One instead. Link to comment
BlackEagle Posted August 8, 2014 Content Count: 1950 Joined: 02/15/10 Status: Offline Share Posted August 8, 2014 I have the S5 and love it. I just converted my dad to one from a blackberry and he hated the idea of how big the phone was but now he absolutely loves it. After owning one for like a week you don't even notice it in your pocket. Besides they even have a one handed mode if you can only use one hand for some reason. I'm pretty biased on samsung because I've always had good experiences with them. I've heard tremendous things about the G3 but that screen is even larger than the s5. You'd be best to go try them out in the store because it really comes down to what fits you the best. Link to comment
Ryoku Posted August 8, 2014 Content Count: 374 Joined: 07/20/13 Status: Offline Share Posted August 8, 2014 I currently have a HTC One M8 and I love it, got it about a couple weeks ago and still has no problems. One time I went 2 full days without out charging and fair amount of usage. The screen is amazing. The camera makes iPhone cameras look like the little Kodiak cheap cameras you can buy. If you do get one and if you are under Verizon they sell a sick Red Brushed metal model that looks great under the sun. But if you want a phone on steroids that is almost a freaking PC I recommend the Oppo phones. http://global.oppo.com/en/products/find7/ Link to comment
