We dusted off the forums a bit and decided to add some new shine to it! The new forums help pave the way for even more changes to take off here at SteamGamers, I hope you all enjoy the new site as much as I do. It's also featuring our new logo, which I'm sure plenty of you have probably already seen floating around.

 

Absolutely HUGE thanks to our Technical Administrators: TheVirus, floffypus, and our now newest TA, Revenga! (Didn't last long as an SA at all, the others bullied him too much)

 

Please give them a lot of thanks, they worked together to finally get these underway and I think they did a damn fine job of it.

 

Please also feel free to post your opinions, any bugs or errors you see, and let us know what you suggest we add/remove. We'll continue to focus on the site and do our best to make sure everyone enjoys the new site!

 

Edit: Forgot to mention, RSs and CEs got a color change so CEs are more pee colored and RSs are more inclined to not come back due to their forum color.

 

Edit2: Possibly an easily overlooked feature: Instead of the little bubble-dots representing if players are online or not, the userbars now have a green glow or white glow depend if a user is online or offline! Special thanks to Floffy for this idea, I thought it was a nifty enough little feature to mention here.

 

Current known issues

• [Pending???] Some people can sometimes not respond via quick reply and get an all black box instead: Screenshot
  
• [Fixed] Thanks button has a graphical glitch.
  
• [Fixed] There's some escape white pixels around the edges of the section bars, being looked into. Most likely has something to do with the gray lining box around them.
  
• [Fixed] We're also aware there are some error lines appearing at the top of the page when logging in, and possibly while looking at certain forums.
  
• [Fixed] Not really an "issue", but we will tone down the brightness of the green bars.
  
• [Fixed] Username, custom title, rankbar, and avatar not centered on posts.
  
• [Fixed] Top 10 Stats background doesn't blend in well with the rest of the site.
  
• [Fixed] "My Activity" tab was the default tab on user profiles when it should've been Visitor Messages.
  
• [Fixed] Some icons still have vBulletin blue color when they should have SteamGamers green.
  
• [Fixed] All servers on the homepage sidebar had the same IP listed for each server.
  
• [Fixed] "Reply to Thread", "Post New Thread", etc buttons look awkward, especially on hover.
  
• [Fixed] Sub-forum section titles are off using the new black/green bars, change them to be the forum-wide bars.
  
• [Fixed] Ranks/Showcase showing between rankbar and avatar, to be fixed soon. (finally fixed, took long enough, lol)
  
• [Fixed] There is no link to the forms page on the navbar.
  
• [Fixed] Stretch category background on forms page.
  
• [Fixed] Not a style issue, but I finally got the damn calendar fixed so it's not stuck in 2012 anymore. Because I know how much you all like to use the calendar.
  
• [Fixed] Another non-style issue, but I got the list of users who logged in today fixed at the bottom of the forum page. I was unaware that it was an issue until about 20 minutes ago, but that's back. Sorry about that.
