Wolfy Posted September 15, 2014 Content Count: 65 Joined: 09/15/13 Status: Offline Share Posted September 15, 2014 I got my computer working and I am looking for a operating system that will play games like Battlefield 4, Counter-Strike: Source, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, DayZ Standalone, Team Fortress 2, etc. I was thinking about a version of Windows 7 but I'm just not sure. I currently have Windows 8.1 and have some pretty bad problems with some games with it that I didn't have before I got Windows 8.1. Also, what OS do you guys have and does it work well with games that are mentioned above? Thank you for reading this, goodbye. Link to comment

I know windows 8 still has problems running some games in the sense that there are minor quirks like texture problems but aside from that the fps difference is so small you can't really argue one or the other Link to comment

My friends say windows 7, but I have 8.1 on my laptop and have never had any issues. Probably going to go with 8.1 Link to comment
Banana Joe Posted September 15, 2014 Content Count: 3056 Joined: 01/25/10 Status: Offline Share Posted September 15, 2014 Windows 7 is bulletproof regarding games, might want to do some googling to see if it's common problems with windows 8.1 or if it's something else, as others mentioned.
