My guess is is it's supposed to let everyone in on some of the incoming updates, what's going on, etc. Of course they could just do community announcements but at least here, everyone's' opinions and thoughts can be shared without talking through others.

Thank you to everyone who showed up at the meeting. It ended up being ~1h27mins for those interested in how long it was. More than likely future community meetings will be about an hour.

 

I will upload a video to my youtube with the full audio and chat later this weekend. We decided to have a community meeting be a monthly thing, our CA+ meeting will be every first Saturday of the month, and the community meeting will be every 3rd Saturday. 4PM EST.

Also the community meeting will be made into a monthly event. Every 3rd Saturday at 4PM EST there will be a community meeting. Someone will send out an event reminder before every meeting.
