And also one that's finally in the mother fucking Pacific War. I mean, you gotta at least respect the fact that the developers haven't followed the norm and made another WW2 game set during D-Day. 99% of the WW2 games are set in Europe, even though the most horrific bloody battles happened in the Pacific War. Just look at the casualties of the Battle of Normandy compared to the Battle of Okinawa.

 

Normandy:

Allied:

United States: 1,465 dead, 5,138 wounded, missing or captured;

United Kingdom: 2,700 dead, wounded or captured;

Canada: 500 dead; 621 wounded or captured;[5]

Total:10,264

 

Axis:

Nazi Germany: Between 4,000 and 9,000 dead, wounded or captured

 

Battle of Okinawa:

Allied:

American casualties:

12,513 dead or missing,

38,916 wounded,

33,096 non-combat losses,

14,000 retired due to nervous breakdown

79 ships sunk and scrapped,

100 heavilly damaged ships,

at least 221 M4 tanks destroyed,

So, I mean, you know that shit had to be fucking insane. I'm not too impressed by the trailer, but I'm looking forward to the game and hope it will actually be a good Pacific War game (out of the few released, there haven't been many good ones).

This game immediately loses my respect because I have no idea what they are saying. What about the Korean War? Only game I can think of that came close to that is Mercenaries.

We have enough modern war games. I loved cod 1, 2 and 3. If you want new war for the game start ww3.

Lol Fail. I think its based on the battles in the Pacific with the Japanese during World War 2.

CoD3 sucked ass, but this one looks like a major improvment since they finally moved the series to the Pacific after all these years.

Its gonna suck, just look at previous COD games, it follows a pattern. COD3 okay, COD4 good (but it felt like it was missing something), this new COD probably won't be so good.
